🧨 NordVPN and Surfshark vs ExpressVPN and CyberGhost - which is the best VPN duo? 🎯 ✅ #1 NordVPN deal + 4 months FREE ➡️ https://cnews.link/get-nordvpn_248/ ✅ #2 Surfshark deal ➡️ https://cnews.link/get-surfshark_160/ ✅ ExpressVPN review ➡️ https://cnews.link/expressvpn-review_6/ ✅ CyberGhost review ➡️ https://cnews.link/cyberghost-review_2/ The NordVPN and Surfshark merge happened just recently. It looks like monopolies are taking place in the VPN world. Last year ExpressVPN joined with CyberGhost under the same company as well. The question is, have those merges shifted the power dynamic? This video will explain thoroughly what changed after the merging of these VPNs and compare the current performance of Surfshark and NordVPN vs ExpressVPN and CyberGhost. 00:00 Intro 0:26 VPN merges 1:06 Are these VPNs secure enough? 3:09 VPN speed test and performance comparison 4:59 Everything about Apps and features 8:30 Can you use them for streaming and torrenting? 9:33 Are these VPNs affordable? 10:28 Conclusion: which VPN is worth it? So, it’s been over a month since Surfshark and NordVPN merge. Last year Kape Technologies bought ExpressVPN, and it wouldn't be the first time either, well-known names like Cyberghost, PIA and Zenmate joined this team. These merges don’t necessarily mean that anything will change in the way providers operate. The collective effort to improve all involved services should make a difference… Right? I decided to test that out in the first-ever team match between Surfshark and NordVPN vs CyberGhost and ExpressVPN. ================= Security and Privacy: ================= Starting up with a VPN comparison in Security and Privacy I can’t escape from pivoting to the RAM-only servers. These are essential for privacy and security, as they can’t retain user data and ExpressVPN was actually a pioneer in implementing those. Surfshark and NordVPN followed suit, but this technology never stuck with CyberGhost. The effort NordVPN-Surfshark duo put into maintaining their no-logs policy, is commendable. I respect all the extra work they did to keep privacy standards high, especially the participation in independent audits. With CyberGhost and ExpressVPN, while their no-logs policies are solid and ExpressVPN even proved that in court, I’m quite disappointed with the lack of independent audits for CyberGhost. Both teams use the ChaCha20 encryption algorithm. The difference boils down to hash functions: SHA-512 for NordVPN and Surfshark vs SHA-256 for ExpressVPN and CyberGhost. =========== Performance: =========== Next in this VPN comparison 2022, I want to talk about performance. I will take the best performance not from each provider, but from each team instead. Let’s check if there’s some good “teamplay” here. I considered three servers in my VPN comparison tests: the automatically chosen closest server, the US servers and the Japanese ones. As a result, I've got a good range of values from each team, and as you can see the fight is heating up. These results are pretty close, summarizing them on the graph, you can see that there’s a slight difference between the download speed on both sides, but a huge gap in ping and upload speed. In the end, Surfshark’s speeds are the fastest ones, with NordVPN taking second place, and ExpressVPN closing the top three. These speeds are not the only factor in the performance of the best VPN providers, servers also matter a lot and both teams have huge fleets of servers available. Surfshark and NordVPN have 3,200+ and 5,300+ servers respectively, a good amount split amongst 65+ countries on average. Though, in this battle it isn't comparable. I am thrilled to find something CyberGhost excels at - and its servers. Over 7,100+ servers, in conjunction with 3,000+ from ExpressVPN and 90+ countries on average between them. When servers and locations are concerned, I guess even the Surfshark and NordVPN merge can’t help here. ========= Conclusion: ========= At the end of the day, the scores are definitive, NordVPN and Surfshark provide more overall value, especially if you need VPNs with more specialized features, great security and performance for a fair price. I won’t say that ExpressVPN and CyberGhost are not worth your attention though. ExpressVPN is arguably the best here for torrenting, and CyberGhost has a very effective and varied server fleet, enabling a lot of various connections.
